Hi Phyllis:

As per my discussion with Dionne, we can live with the request for all
items except the K-Baseline soils.   The issue with this item is that
the soils will be ready to be moved and will only cause further impact
if left in place (migration of HC as the soil stockpile thaws.
However, I spoke with Stephanie Hawkins directly on this one and she
will have her comments to you by the original date (15th).   Therefore
pls remove this item from your list of extensions. 

We would also like to note that in any project of this size, field
conditions often require modification to designs.   In all cases we will
be looking for input from the design eng/scientist to provide an
equivalent or better alternative - in those circumstances when Board
approval is req'd the turnaround for review will need to be fairly
immediate.   There is one window to complete this work within - and
unfortunately there are no opportunities for delay.
