I'm in the Gjoa Haven office this week and had the opportunity to discuss with Phyllis the Fuel Tank amendment application that is waiting for Board approval and discovered that we do not have copies of all the documents submitted with the application that require approval signatures and an engineeer's stamp.  The key documents that the NWB is requiring confirmation on are the submission from Golder Associates Ltd. of the information package, including the Geotechnical Input to Infrastructure Design, Project No. 03-1423-427 dated March 2004 and the Design Specifications, Project No.06-1413-009 dated April 28, 2006.  It appears as though we only received these items electronically, and as such have not on file a copy of the signed documents.  The additional drawings included from GemSteel and Nishi Khon have included the stamps and permit no.s for their contribution to the design. 

 

If signed, scanned copies are not readily available for immediate delivery, providing the appropriate signature pages (for reports and drawings) via fax would suffice for the interim.  I noted that the Design Specifications report, along with the drawings were issued "For Construction" and therefor should have all the required engineering stamps and signatures finalizing the reports.

 

I also noted that in the Cumberland submission "Water Licence Amendment Application, dated May 2006", a reference is continually made to a 5 million Litre storage, whereas the Design Report and submission from Golder is for a 5.6 million Litre facility? Could you please confirm.
