Keith Morrison sent you the map referenced in our teleconference this afteroon and I have included the map here which outlines the communities of Taloyoak and Kugaaruk as yellow dots. Please confirm by return email or fax the following: 1. Please highlight on the map where the commercial fishing is done by the residents of Taloyoak. Does this lake have any impact on the Barrow Lake Project as outlined by Indicator Minerals? 2. Do the residents of Taloyoak have any issues related specifically to waste disposal and water use in the area of the Barrow Lake Project? 3. Unfortunately the Nunavut Water Board has no jurisdiction over wildlife in the area, specifically the caribou herds. This issue should be brought to the attention of the Nunavut Willdlife Management Board and the Nunavut Impact Review Board. 4. Can you confirm whether or not the residents of Taloyoak do commercial fishing on the lake where Indicator Minerals will be doing their exploratory drilling? 5. Can you confirm that the area of the Barrow Lake Project is where fuel drums have been left and the area has been unreclaimed. Please provide this information to the Nunavut Water Board by 5:00 pm Mountain Time on Friday of this week. Thank you. ________________________________ Phyllis Beaulieu Manager of Licensing Nunavut Water Board P.O.
