Hi Jim,

We do not have any topographical map, however, attached is photos took last September of the tank farm.

In case of a spill, we will have absorbent pads on site at all the time to absorb any contaminants. Also, the tanks will located in a newly renovated berm area that has a HDPE liner, which will contain the spill.

Finally, the absorbent pads will be disposed by burning.

If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact us by email or phone.

Good afternoon, Mechelle:

Further to your recent application for a water license, there is some additional information that is required, and remains outstanding.  This would include a detailed topographical map and/or aerial photograph of the area, as well as a contingency plan to address the potential impact of a salt water spill (such as might occur during hydrostatic testing) on adjacent freshwater resources.  With regards to the maps presently submitted, those  maps do not provide sufficient detail regarding adjacent waterbodies and site drainage feature to allow for an evaluation of any potential impacts of the project on freshwater resources in the vicinity.  Additionally, as there is a small potential for the release of hazardous materials during the testing process, a contingency to address this possibility will also be required. Finally, what provisions are being made for the disposal of the contaminated sorbent materials that you described in the application documents that you have submitted to date?

With regards to the summary provided, the English version is sufficient as presented.  Please forward once translated into Inuktitut.

If you have any questions, or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Sincerely,
