Good morning Phil,

Hope things are going well.  I'm just following up on your latest email (Sept 18) to see how things are coming along.  Have you been able to put together the info?  I just wanted to make sure that we are still proceding with the application.  The NWB has changed it's email address domain effectivie immediately, however the old addresses should still be functioning for a few more weeks.  There is a chance that during the transition, email may be "lost", but hopefully all goes well.

On another side note, the NWB's ftp site is no longer available hosted by the Nunavut Planning Commission and the Public Regsitry section of the new Water Board website is not yet up and running (not sure how they plan on transferring all the files to the new hosting server?).

For the submission of information, our Licensing Manager's email is now licensing@nunavutwaterboard.org and my address (which this was sent from) is tech2@nunavutwaterboard.org

take care,

David

David

Thank you and you are right about the confusion.  I am going through the files now and so far I have files from the following departments and organizations; Kivalliq Inuit Association for Land Use (camp and drill) and Water Usage, Indian and Northern Affairs Canada for Land Use (drilling only), NIRB for Mining Exploration and Campsite, Nunavut Planning Commission (forwarded from INAC) and of course the Nunavut Water Board.  Of course this does not include the chats with the local hamlet and hunters and trappers association and Workers Compensation Board and the local Fisheries and Wild Life Officer.  I hope I am not missing anyone.

Details of Water license to follow.

Phil, the history isn't necessary, just the answers so they can be included with the file and provide some backup to the conditions (ie term requested, volume of water requested).. on the volume, there was an email on file and reviewed by INAC for 60m3/day, I would stick with that to lessen confusion.  If there are any questions down the road, the history can be provided, otherwise I think it would just confuse things.

Regards,

Dave

I am tried to follow up from our discussion last week.  Do you need the history of what we discussed or do you need the answers as requested in your email.
