Here are Health Canada's comments on the draft interim report guidelines of March 10, 2006:

With regards to the environmental components listed on page 3, HC appreciates the inclusion of air quality as a component and requests that this be looked at from a human health perspective as well as an environmental perspective.  Furthermore, for the component socioeconomics, more detail should be provided, including a subcomponent of health and wellness.

We look forward to working with the Nunavut Impact Review Board and other parties on the monitoring for Tahera's Jericho diamond project.
