However, I need to begin discussions with the NWB regarding this particular Water License - specifically for the security dollars that are attached to it. As you know and will recall from the Jericho Final Hearings we proposed utilizing the security in place for the 306 license as part of the security for the Jericho Mine license, but a number of groups indicated that administratively that was not possible. There is no doubt that the majority (if not all) of the security dollars held in the 306 license are covered by the water license for the mine and as such Tahera will want as much of the security deposit refunded as possible. I am not clear on what the process will be doing this so perhaps you can think about it and talk to Philippe and see what he thinks. I would like to begin this process as soon as possible. As we intend to continue to conduct exploration work in the Jericho area I think we will still need to keep the 306 license, but only for exploration purposes, which would have little to no security requirements. I will also send an email to Philippe about this so that he begins thinking about it as well. Please let me know if you have any questions. Just thought I would check to see if you are still operating under the above water license which was approved in 2003. If so, no problem. ________________________________ Phyllis Beaulieu Manager of Licensing Nunavut Water Board P.O.
