To address any concerns that the community might have about the planned reclamation activities, Kinross Gold Corporation, Lupin Mine, will be holding a public information meeting in Kugluktuk on Wednesday, July 20 at 7pm in the Community Hall. This is not intended to be a technical meeting. The purpose of the meeting will be to inform the community of our restoration activities in the TCA, both what we have done in the past and what we intend to do in the future. The presentaion is expected to be informal and we welcome questions from the community. It will be stressed that our plan of activites does not have final approval from the Board and that changes to our present plan may be required. Posters advertising the meeting will be sent to the KIA and the Hamlet shortly, for dispersal as they see fit. Regards, Mike Michael Tansey, P.Eng.
