Well, I must tell you, the weather this past week at Lupin has been incredible. The week prior we experienced our first blizzard that left us the better part of a foot of snow. Last week the sun came out and we have had a week of record breaking highs. The past three days have been +13C. The crew has been doing a fine job battening down the hatches here, and this weather has certainly been a gift when it comes to those last minute outdoor tasks. I am not certain of a firm date, but our intention will be to stop pumping mine water before we have a risk of freezing the piping. The flows from underground are similar to our previous Care & Maintenance experience, so we calculate that we have some 36 months of underground capacity before we have levels that would compromise hoisting and shop assets. The mine water flows reported for September have departed from the normal trends. Our instrument tech on site believes the values are erroneous because the lower flows are not withing the typical range of the monitoring equipment. Speaking with Dave Hohnstein, he advised me that the same was experienced in the last care and maintenance period. There is otherwise nothing unusual to report. Wayne G.
