Mr. Lines

Apparently my previous email didn't make it to you.  Attached is a table of personnel requirements for the Meliadine underground program.  We will exceed the limitations imposed by Part D, #7 of our existing water license 2BE-MEL0709.  We currently manage wastes for 35-45 people utilizing our existing infrastructure (incineration - blackwater, wetland - greywater) without incident and have done so for several years.  KIA collects water samples annually and has done so for several years that monitor the effectiveness of our wetland treatment.  We believe the existing system is fully capable of continuing to provide responsible waste management and respectfully request that we be granted permission to continue our existing practices and incinerate all toilet wastes for the duration of the program.

Thanks

Sandy Barham
