NWB2BRO0405 renewal application
Hi
Phyllis,
Attached are one of
three documents addressing the points below, consisting of a zoomed in
topographical map of camp location. A topo map of the camp plus project
area, and a camp schematic to be included with the spill plan will follow.
Note that the camp coordinates are -87 Deg 52’ 10.38” 73 Deg 14’ 49.38”
with water drawn from the creek immediately adjacent to the
camp.
Please let me know if
you require hard copies and if there are any further questions or
concerns.

Subject: NWB2BRO0405 renewal
application
Susan,
I was passed your application for
renewal of licence NWB2BRO0405 this week and would like to see it go out for
review and comment within the next week. In looking over the application,
there were a couple items that should be included prior to distribution to the
interested parties.
Other than the 2004 Annual Report
which does mention the location of the water source for the camp (which I assume
to be close to camp) there doesn't appear to be any coordinates given for the
camp location in the application. Could you forward the coordinates of the
camp to be included in the application.
The second item is the need for a
topographical map indicating the camp location and the extents of the
exploration program covered under this licence renewal. The coordinates
are given in the application for the four corners of the program, however the
lower extent latitude does not include what is indicated as the water supply for
the camp at 73 14 49 N. The map included with the application does not
show the lats and longs, and it is difficult to determine the camp location by
the map alone.
A site map should also be included
with the Spill Contingency Plan and the Abandonment and Reclamation Plan for
additional information and completeness of those plans. These should be of
a suitable scale to indicate clearly where components of the camp are located in
relation to the surrounding environment. The map for the SCP should also
indicate the components integral to the SCP, ie the fuel storages and Spill kits
available.
If you could forward the above
information through our licensing manager (copied on this email), that will
greatly speed up the process.
Thank you for your time, if you have
any questions, please feel free to give me a call or email at your
convenience.
Regards,
