Dear Phyllis Beaulieu

With reference to the above application submitted to the NWB and INAC, the
Nunavut Planning Commission (NPC) and the Nunavut Impact Review Board
(NIRB), we wish to extend the project date time to October 30th 2006.
During further discussions with Joe Murdoch, and the understanding that the
Company will not be able to adhere to the 30 day review period applicable
after the proponent meets the application requirements, it was concluded
that the date applicable to the Project exploration activities should be
October 30, 2006.

Kindly assist and advise if there is any further documentation required by
the Company to comply with all the Water Board's regulations.

We trust that the above request is in order.
