Afternoon Leslie;

The NPC currently has two files on its desk to review against the Keewatin Regional Land Use Plan submitted by Starfield Resources, both applications filled by Rescan Environmental Services Ltd.

1)     NRI – Project title 2007 Winter Wildlife Surveys Baseline Program

2)     INAC – Project title N2007X011 – Access Road (Winter Road)

Mr. Francois Landry who is the signatory to both applications has mentioned (tele. conversation – March 23, 2007) that there may be more baseline studies and has asked NPC to wait on the NRI application. The INAC application mentions a KIA amendment to application KVLCL305H27 (which NPC reviewed for conformity on Jan.07) has been resubmitted to include an Airstrip which NPC has not yet received.

The NPC now expects to see an amended NWB file for the KIA amended application.

Leslie, please inform NPC of what wd be the best approach on these files for NIRB?  The NPC can either review each file as they come through one by one, or wait for all applications to be on our desk and then initiate and complete the conformity review process.

Any questions, concerns, please do not hesitate.

Brian A.
