      Dear Sirs,
      I am writing you today from Toronto in the hope of urging you to deny Uravan 
      Minerals application for mineral development on the calving grounds of the 
      Beverly Caribou herd.

      I spent several weeks in 2005 canoeing in that region and am aware how delicate this region is and the impact that such development would cause.

      Attached is a picture of my son Ian and our guide Alex Hall, enjoying the wonderful scenery. I would like to think that Ian and his generation, as well as those generations that follow, will be able to enjoy this magnificent place. I therefore urge you to reject this proposal.
