I strongly urge you to shelve this project, at least until further studies have shown that the caribou herds are in a healthier population size than they presently are. These beasts are of great importance to the native people of the area, and have much more value than uranium, although perhaps not in easily-seen monetary terms. I am writing this to you from the Bruce Peninsula in Ontario, the last wilderness refuge of Southern Ontario, where people are just becoming aware of how precious the natural habitat can be....though again not in monetary terms, but in those spiritual, aesthetic and deep-rooted humanistic terms.
