dear leslie,,,,,please be aware that many folks are following your actions regarding uravans permit to develop for uranium on the beverly caribou herd calving grounds around the back river and garry lakes....i have been hiking and canoeing in nunavat and northwest territories for 30 years and can tell you that no good will come from it. my early hope was that the establishment of nunavat would add a high level of stewardship of the land. i still have that hope...this project will do no good for the people in the long run. short term profits do not turn into long term security...please reject uravans permit request. protect the land and your future now.....thanks, paul frerichs 3600 labore road, st paul mn, usa 55110...
