I demand that the Uravan application be denied. A strong leader is what it will take to defend the calving grounds of the Beverly Caribou heard, 

 

someone who will be looked on in years to come as a hero who made a difference, someone who is not afraid to do what’s right, a true 

 

patriot and a savior of moral right and untamed beauty. I beg you to be that hero, to take a step in the right direction if true compassion and an 

 

inner knowledge of what is right lives in you. We do not want to deny future generations the chance of witnessing what gives us all the feeling of 

 

being from this part of the world (Canada), the chance to see and feel true freedom.
