From: Ceronsky, Charles P [CCERONS1@Fairview.org] Sent: December 10, 2008 2:25 PM To: lpayette@nirb.ca Cc: Joe Ceronsky; mceronsky@gmail.com Subject: Beverly Herd Calving Grounds Protection Please register my strong opposition to the Uravan Minerals request for further development on the calving grounds of the Beverly herd. Others have already sent extensive arguments to you as to why this would be untenable. Thank you for considering my plea. I spent a week with the Inuit on the land at Repulse Bay last year. I cannot imagine the impact of further destruction of the Beverly herd for those living on their routes. The risk that mining on the calving grounds would further decimate the herd is too great.
