RE: NO exploration in calving grounds

We should not have mineral exploration on the Beverly calving  
grounds ... ever.   And especially if there is a significant decrease  
in the herd's numbers .    Would we consider having such a disruption  
in our maternity wards ?

  Ever since the collapse of the cod fishery on the east  coast, I lack faith in our ability to ensure survival of healthy species populations. We just don't know all that we need to - so we have to be extremely vigilant in our protection of animal habitat, especially of the calving grounds.
