      I am writing this email to urge governments and related groups to stop mineral exploration on the Beverly Caribou Calving Grounds.
      Information has come out recently that numbers of this herd are seriously low. Given this information, any stress, including mineral exploration should be limited to allow the herd to gain in strength and numbers.
      Please consider this appeal - we are lucky to have these magnificent animals and in numbers that should be allowed to continue to grow. Canada is unique in this situation and I hope that its leaders show that we can protect our valuable natural assets such as the caribou.
