Hello Richard: Thanks for the remainder. As I have just be recently hired to this position, I was not aware of this. I am however, writing new AR Plans for each of the camps MHBL has along the Hope Bay Belt rather than having one generic A&R Plan for the Belt. I have come to this approach in light of new infrastructures that have been built in 2005 or will be built at various camps in 2006.

All respective A&R Plans will be submitted together with the 2005 Annual Report for each License (NWB1BOS0106 & NWB2HOP0207).

I hope this approach will be accepted by your office. Please let me know if further information is required. thanks, matt

Subject: Abandonment & Restoration Plan NWB2HOP0207

Good afternoon Matthew;

According to water license NWB2HOP0207 an Abandonment & Restoration Plan (AR Plan) was to be submitted within six months of issuance of the license. The license was approved February 21, 2002 and the AR Plan is yet to be received; please regard this as a reminder to provide the AR Plan to the Nunavut Water Board.

Regards,
