Subject: Proposed Drillplan-KNIFE LAKE-Spring 2004

Greetings, All,

For your information, please see attached a table of UTM co-ordinates (NAD 27) for 11 diamond drillholes (DDH) planned to comprise the Knife Lake Spring Drill Programme; this programme is entirely on Crown land. Also attached is a map which shows the provisional placement of 6 lake-based and 5 land-based DDH. You will note that 3 DDH will be drilled from the same setup.

De Beers Canada Exploration (DBCE) plans to erect 2 survival tents this week near the planned work area (refer to map for location of drill area).  We plan to mobilise a Boart Longyear LF-70 fly rig to site on or about 25 March to commence the programme in conjunction with a ground-gravity geophysical survey; the plan is to use the LF-70 currently stored at our Rockinghorse camp.

(Separate note to WCB:  The requisite Exploration Form will be completed and forwarded to you in advance).

Thank you for the opportunity to present the foregoing.

Regards,
