I has become practice of the NWB to hold licence renewals until conditions
of current or previous licenses have been met. The current Licence expires
on Sept 30, 2005 and should still allow adequate time to prepare the
required A&R Plan as identified in Licence NWB2KUG0305. I have
attached an A&R Plan that is on file with the NWB, public records, which
gives a good outline and format of a plan that has been acceptable to the
NWB. There are of course, areas of site specific need which may be
addressed with the plan to be prepared for the Dismal Lake Project. I
think the only section that had been requested to be revised in this document
was section 1.11, and dealing with contaminated materials/soils discovered
during restoration. This section needed to clarify what would be done with
the materials, if collected, where it would be transported to for
treatment/disposal and approval of the location for etc.
The Licence renewal draft has been prepared, with the submission of an
A&R Plan from Coronation Minerals Inc. taken into account, and would simply
require the approval of the Board once received, placing the issuance of the
renewal prior to the expiry of the current Licence.
If you require further assistance, information or wish to discuss the
above, please do not hesitate to contact me, or our Manager of
Licensing at your convenience in the coming week.
Regards,
Dave
