There are four expired water licenses that I am applying for closure of on behalf of Strongbow Exploration Inc., including this one. When I first began the task I had started to fill in the cancellation forms and was told that this was no longer required in order to close out a license that had already expired. I was advised that a legal opinion had been sought and it had been determined that if a license had passed its expiry date it did not need to be cancelled, the file only needed to be closed, and because of that an official cancellation application was not needed. I was advised that I could request closure for these expired licenses via a letter, which I did. I was later advised that it has now been determined that a cancellation application is required and that I need to send one in for each of the four licenses that were referenced in the letter that I submitted. As I informed Phyllis I am working on behalf of Strongbow Exploration Inc. on a part time, consulting basis and regrettably due to my personal time commitments, I would not be able to address this matter right away. I will be working on the cancellation applications for these licenses over the next few weeks and will submit them (accompanied by the requisite executive summaries in both English and Inuktitut) as soon as is practicable. In addition, in the future I would request that you please address any correspondence regarding Strongbow Exploration Inc. to WestcottNicole@gmail.com. Stornoway Diamond Corporation is an entirely different company and since it has no affiliation with Strongbow Exploration Inc. it makes it easier for everyone if correspondence for each of the companies is directed to the appropriate email address. I know it gets confusing when some people work for several different companies, especially when the names are similar (sometimes I have to think about which hat I have on when I am writing emails myself) however it is best that I try my best to insure that matters are kept separate. If you have any further questions regarding the cancellation applications that will be forthcoming for 2BE-NTI0507 and the other three licenses addressed in the letter that I submitted please do not hesitate to contact me.
