The water has to be treated before drinking or used in cooking, brushing teeth, etc. Water samples should be sent out at least once per month to make sure the water is in good shape. Under "Waste Treatment and Disposal", it should be clear that the pits for greywater and blackwater will be located 30m (100') from any body of water.
