Subject: Licence NWB2WLS0406
Attention Ms Janet Miller or Robin Hopkins - Strongbow Exploration Inc.

I am writing to clarifiy some of the above Licence requirements and submissions that were received.

From our records, the Licence application was submitted on May 18, 2004 with follow up distribution for reveiw and comment in June.  Shortly after receiving the application, the NWB received an A&R Plan as well as a Spill Contingency Plan; these were to be included in the review of the overall application and were placed on the ftp site.

Comments were received on the application and the licence was drafted and approved with conditions of submitting adendums for both the SCP and the A&R Plan.  The NWB administration distributed the original A&R Plan for further reveiw (thinking it was a new plan submitted under Condition Part H, Item 1). However, the additional information requested within the Licence was not part of this Plan.  Comments were received which mirrored in part, the request in the Part H, Item 1 condition.  For your information , the NU, Dept. of Env. review letter is available on the ftp site at: ftp://ftp.nunavut.ca/nwb/NWB2%20EXPLORATION/NWB2WLS/

The additional link below contains a couple plans submitted by Placer Dome for their Maze Lake Project, that are good references for Plan development.  They still don't have everything that was required in the final plan, but present a good foundation to develop from.

Rather than sending out a formal letter as a followup to the reveiw requesting the same information, I would simply like to draw your attention to the Part H condition of the Licence that indicates a submission of an adendum for the A&R Plan (as well as the SCP) is required.

I thank you for your time, if you have any questions regarding the Licence and the above, please do not hesitate to contact me (780.443.4406) at your earliest convenience.

Regards,
