Regarding Transport Canada proposed works involving the collection of soil, water and vegetation samples at the Resolute Bay Airport.  

Because of delays acquiring the necessary permitting and authorizations we are unable to complete the physical work associated with this project (i.e. the collection of samples) and formally request that the date the work will be commenced be changed on the application now being screened by NIRB and NRI from the summer of 2009 to the summer of 2010.
