Dear
Amy,
For your information,
after discussing with
I passed along to our
road crew a message similar to yours: if they want a re-alignement of the
road, we have to be given some lead time to be able to consult the regulatory
agencies.
Thanks for your
help.

Objet : RE:
Meadowbank AWPAR Realignment Update
Hi Gary.
As per our telephone
discussion on July 20, 2007, it is DFO's understanding that crossing R10A will
not be installed and that the AWPAR will not be realigned at the location
described in your technical memorandum dated July 19, 2007. Please ensure
that any future revisions of the approved project are submitted early
on to provide agencies, including the Nunavut Impact Review Board and the
Nunavut Water Board, with sufficient time for review and
approval.
Thank
you.

Subject:
Meadowbank AWPAR Realignment Update
Amy and
Paul:
Please find
the attached technical memo outlining this important issue for Agnico-Eagle. As
discussed last week, time is short and they will need a response prior to the
weekend if possible, as they will likely be at the onset of the realignment in 3
to 4 days.
There
shouldn't be any issues from a fisheries perspective, but we would appreciate
your input for verification. Please "reply all" any comments to ensure that the
whole team is aware.
Thanks,
Gary
